Actually im only 20, my girlfriend is 24, she wants us to get married, weve been together for 16 months. I said i am too young, i want to know more about her before i fully commit and im glad i havent commited yet. Ive found out a different side to her. She told me she cheated on her ex as he lived over 150 miles away, she says she wouldnt do it to me so i have to take her word for it.

Did he ask you to get engaged/married?

Why doesnt he like you to bring it up in conversation?

Honesty and Trust are important aspects of a relationship.

You need to trust him. Or your insecurity will drive him away.

That was said to me on here a few weeks back and look at me...ive just asked her if she wanted to be together still. Now i dont mean to but that is going to start to drive her away.

I feel a fool so im going to make an extra effort stop being an idiot.

He has to respect your feelings though and understand, does he know what your ex's did?
