Hi Joe, I finished removal of eight amalgams last month. Hopefully, being Mercury free will help me fight cancer. I enjoy my new white teeth, and didn't experience any side effects that I noticed. I had some generalized pain in my jaw at first, but it is gone now. Good luck. Judy
