Re: Replacing or removing?
HI Joe,
I know this is a LONG LONG time ago, but I wanted to tell you why I would personally not refill my cavities after an
Amalgam removal...Currently I am trying to do exactly that!
Well, first things first, wouldn't you want your own biological teeth back? And since teeth with cavities are essentially organs that have open wounds, wouldn't it be actually illogical to fill it in with a synthetic material, toxicity aside? I sure wouldn't want to fill an open wound on my body with cement or plastic...
I already know that teeth can remineralize, thanks to Hal Huggins's book "It's All in Your Head", Rameil Nigel's book "Cure Tooth Decay", and Dr. Weston Price's book "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration", as well as all sorts of interesting online articles...but the most profound thing I found is that you can also remineralize dentin: I thought it was only enamel that could be strengthened via diet, but I was wrong...
With this in mind, and knowing that your teeth are alive and can heal themselves given adequate diet, etc., I also know that there are many plants that have super powers-such as comfrey, or "knit bone" as it is referred. Why can't comfrey root be used to remineralize and regrow tooth tissue that is freshly wounded?
I know it sounds crazy, and as of yet (that I know of) it has not been done, but that doesn't mean its not possible!
Granted, it might hurt REALLY bad at first, but wouldn't it be worth it if you could have your own teeth back again? I already lost one tooth to a
root canal scam, and I am still young (just turned 20).
Anyways, food for thought. But I am looking for a good/safe dentist that will oversee my crazy idea, lol. I'll try to keep anyone posted if interested:)
Peace
