Re: liver & gall bladder flush

I haven't tried no Liver Flushes or anything at all. I had the same problem 3 years ago, they said it was Acid reflux or food poisining and sent me home on meds. But this past November on my birthday I was hospitalized for a week. I had really bad stomach pains, it went through my whole stomach, in the period of 20 minutes I puked 11 times. I felt soooo bad I couldn't even stand. So while in the hospital, they diagnosed me with having Gallstones, and the only resort I had was to take out my Gallbladder, because not only did it have stones, but it was really badly infected, and if I did not remove it in 6 months it could get alot worse. So I went home, with meds. I felt a little better, so they booked me for surgery on January 10th, 2005. I went in for the surgery which lasted 1 hour and 10 minutes. Not that long. I stayed in the Day Surgery Unit recovering until 1:30pm, then I was sent home with my MEDS. During the first week, I felt so nauseated and sick to my stomach, but the pain from the surgery wasn't all that bad. So I took the Gravol for the nausea, but the nausea, was also, do because at the same time I was recovering I got my period, after that past the nausea started passing away. But it's been two weeks after my surgery, and I can eat anything, and it doesn't irritate me. Even though the DR told me to wait a month to eat certain greasy foods, but I can't resist lol. I feel great, and healthier. I am only 22 years old. For those people who keep suggesting to do liver flushes, that is your opinion, I wouldn't do it myself. I feel glad I did the surgery, because I feel absolutely, better, what may be good for me , might be bad for others, but all I am saying is surgery can be the right decision at times. I also went to my follow up appt a few days ago, and the DR was shocked to see me looking as good as I was. The wounds healed up pretty good, there's just the little scarring. But besides that all is well with me. For those having surgery, good luck. And for those that don't want it my advice for you is do what you think is best for you, but I think surgery is most of the time, the right way to go. Take care.
