Re: slippery elm bark

Hi whoever you are ,
I use the Slippery elm that I get from Holland and Barratts. It's a white powder and it has to be mixed with milk and boiled. When it is boiled it resembles thick porridge. I have been told by the doctor in America where I buy my Kalawalla caps from that some intestinal problems can cause an upset in the immune system that can trigger off a variety of auto-immune deseases, one of these being psoriasis. So it's a good idea to take Slippery Elm as it soothe the digestive system and could help the immune system to stay on track better. Hope this helps. Carol.
