I'm 28 year sufferer & I found my cure

I suffered from Psoriasis on the scalp and various parts of the body. Ususally, around skin injuries and breaks after the orginal wound healed.

I did the round of medical and alternate cures, many of those that are touted in this forum. I tried them all. None worked for more than a few weeks or months. In 28 years of suffering and not limited in opinions, I did many of them all that the same time. Nothing worked long term.

I found a long time ago that when I spent time in the ocean and laying in the sun that my Psoriasis got better. Only problem was that I could not stay there long enough to cure it. I tried nizarol shampoo which work at first and then stop. All the ways that it got better and then got worse seemed to be simular to an infectious illness and not a internal systemic fault. I tried UV treatments and they work somewhat. I tried simulating the ocean. Sea Salt baths and UV treatments. Close no cure.

Then in desperation I had some Purell hand sanitizer and put it on my scalp. It burned like hell. Quite painfull at first. I kept doing it for the next few days. I noted that the itching and flake growth stopped. I kept this up and started using this on more parts (more visible). I noticed that all the spots that I used the jellied alcohol on got better, while the other spots did not. I kept it up on those spots until they cleared up completely. I then started treating the other spots. After 3 weeks of this no more itching and flacking. Six weeks later no more need for the jellied alcohol treatments.

The skin has all cleared up and I have been clear for 3 years now. But if I get a skin injury I clean it well and use jellied alcohol on the wound as it heals.

I'm not advising that others abandon the cures that they are using to fight this problem, but this is a simple low cost cure for me. this may not work on everyone, but I'm free of Psoriasis now. Tweet
