Possible Hypothyroid?

Hi there Shelley. I'm wondering if I may be hypothroid, maybe you can help point me in the right direction. My menstrual cycles are still irregular and I've done bowel cleansing and 7 liver flushes. I'm guessing I need to address the liver some more but could it be my thyroid that's wonky? Or does it all start with the liver anyway? Trying to figure out hormones is so confusing when so many organs play a part. Which is primary, the liver? My paternal grandma has a thyroid condition, not sure which though. And my maternal grandpa had acromegaly in which he had surgery to remove his pituitarty gland. I'm not sure how much either of these would play in my health but I thought I'd mention them anyway. So many of my symptoms line up with hypothyroid but then again they could easily line up with other things too, like Candida. My main symptoms are irregular menstrual cycles, lack of desire/libido, trouble falling asleep, don't wake up rested (feel achy in my body), low basal body temp, constantly cold hands, feet and nose, loss of appetite, lack of motivation, sometimes feeling depressed, among others. I did try vitex recently but I think it messed me up more than helped, but I'm not sure. I was only on it for a week or so. Prior to that I drank some Yogi women's balance tea which had some estrogenic herbs in it so maybe it was that and not the vitex. Ugh, I just don't know what is going on in my body, it's real frustrating. What do you think? Do I need to address other organs or should I just focus on the liver? What about kidney/adrenals? I have read Julia's website but I just haven't grasped hormones yet. Thanks Shelley as always!

Nicole
