Exercise creates lactic acid which has to be neutralized, causes sweating which costs us electrolytes, and builds bones. This combination causes insomnia because you get depleted of calcium. Start taking at least 500 mg of calcium each day, preferably 1,000 mg if you're avoiding dairy and not eating tons of cilantro and broccoli and whole grain cereals.
Exercise will interrupt digestion. Adreneline type sports will decrease the power of digestion. It is best to carefully work out eating and exercise schedules so everything is at least an hour or two apart from each other. If there is anyh kind of imbalance or impaction, this will get stirred up by exercising and cause gas and bloating. Follow the guidelines for basic digestive cleansing, probiotic supplementation, and gas/bloating and this should resolve.
