New Job and Sensitivities

Hi Shelley,

I'm a first long time reader, first time poster.

My problem deals with my job. Just recently I took a job driving a van as a means to scrape by while I am figuring out my health problems. I took the position with the idea in mind that I would have less problems with stress, environmental irritants, etc. than I would in most other positions. I am currently taking a leave of absence from my old job due to an indoor office environment that I reacted to. The problem is now that I seem to react to the cardboard boxes that I deliver and I have really underestimated the amount of air pollution that I would be breathing in on the road. I feel that this may be an impediment to my recovery but as is true with most human beings I have to work. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do and do you believe that it is possible to recover from allergies/sensitivities while still having some level of exposure to that which you are sensitive to? Thanks in advance for your response.

Mike
