Shelley does it matter whether Soaking the chickpeas or others just in few hours? Overnight is 24 hours?
Usually i bring to the boil the chickpeas for a few minutes remove from the heat or just pouring the hot water on it and let sit for 7-8 hours or less. then i drain the water , change the water, Bring to the boil again, then turn down the heat and simmer for about 45 minutes or until tender
Actually nothing to do with the enzymes rite? I Mean if i soak the beans much longer, so i will get more enzymes or destroys any toxins in the chickpea or beans
