Raw egg whites a no no for candida?

A friend of my mothers kindly lent me a book yesterday called "CANDIDA ALBICANS,COULD YEAST BE YOUR PROBLEM" by Leon Chaitow.
The book is pretty old school but is very informative and easy to read!
It says in one chapter that egg white contains a substance called avidin, which is capable of combining with biotin, thus neutralizing its usefullness in the body.
It then goes on to say.
For this reason raw egg should not be included in the anti candida diet.
So from what i gather biotin is vitamin H and a deficiency of this in humans can cause many of the symptoms of candida.
If you cook the egg though then avidin is destroyed and thus it will not interfere with biotin.
Now i personally have never even heard of vitamin H and if this means ive got to stop having the amazingly yummy Shelley Supremo shake then im gonna be very upset indeed!
Shelley???
