Kidney Disease - Fibrillary glomerulonephritis
I just got back from the Dr. and that's what he said I have. Fibrillary glomerulonephritis.
Actually, having this kidney disease saved my life because when it was detected my right kidney was beginnig to fill up with cancer which was successfully removed (the kidney that is).
Has anyone heard of this disease? My Dr. said its only been around for 10-15 years now and its very rare. So rare that there is very little known about it. Its not terminal (short term) that I know of just chronic and as of yet untreatable (by convenventional medicine). It hampers the filtration function of my remaining kidney (both if you got em) and right now he wants to look into ways of reducing the protein spillage in my system (a low dose of some B/P med), but that's still down the road for now. It appears that we caught this just as it was beginning to manifest itself via a job dictated " annual occupation health physical."
I don't recall the numbers, but the Dr. did say that (for a guy with only one kidney) the protein and creatinine levels are in the middle of the scale. My BP is perfect. In fact I don't suffer any symptoms at all.
Now, I've been doing the liver, the bowel and
parasite cleanses, and my family is adjusting our diet to help our bodies work better. I'm drinking more than half my body weight in onces of H2O and getting some (not enough) activity.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
