That's great, you've confirmed one of the things I read in Nourishing Traditions. :) Lots of people have problems with vegie oils (the 'they're good for you' is mostly propaganda, taking one good fact from research taht exposed lots of negatives, just like tofu) and they're not the cholesterol reducers they're purported to be. And grains are hard for lots of people to handle unless they are soaked, then slow-cooked or sprouted. Just too many carbs and phytoxins otherwise. The pancreas gets exhausted. Being half-Japanese, I have a slightly larger pancreas, or more pancreas power, because I have a genetic history that includes rice as a mainstay.
