Rachel,
Adrienne is probably right about the oil not immediately lubing up
the stones.
But the fact that you drank oil with your attack has
resulted in 25 stones coming out the next morning. Without the oil,
your pain may have dissappeared and nothing from your gallbladder may
have came out. Who knows? At least while you were having an attack,
you aided the process with a flush of oil. Hopeful this removed what
was causing your original pain and blockage. Time will tell. Like
you've stated, flexing may have dropped the stone(s) back out of the
mouth of the gb or it could have helped to pass them into the cystic
duct leading to the common duct. Ultrasound would be interesting to
see if your gb is stone free.
Since your pain is 'milder' than mine seems to be, and I know exactly
that my pain is caused by my 1cm stone that is in the position of the
mouth of the gb when I have pain, I will try this method of flushing
during a colic attack and see if the stone will finally exit. If it
works, and my pain is finally gone, I will varify it by ultrasound to
see if this method works better than just
Liver Cleansing for the
harder stone in the gb. Wish me luck. It may very well be an improved
method of cleansing for those of us with that 'problem, stubborn
stone' that we are still living with after several cleanses. Pain
free is the goal, and then twice a year maintanance cleansing. I'm
very encouraged by this new idea you have tried, and you should be
applauded greatly for your pioneering efforts into a more effective
powerful way to cleanse out the colic producing stones in your gb.
Barry.
