my 8 year old son

Hello,
My 8 year old son was just diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. I really need all the help I can get. He is on steroids orally, and steroid suppositories, antibotic and prevacid. It seems to be helping. The bloody, clotty, mucosy stools have stopped. Although Matthew is still moving his bowels often. In every other way he is fine. I don't know what to do because I do not know enough about it.

Please help, any and all information would be appreciated
