Re: Hair falling out--Good news or bad?
i dont know about hair falling out because it is toxic, hair is dead anyway, if you pluck someones hair out you can get it tested to see whats in it and you can find traces of metals or even drugs in the hair. Hair naturally falls out at around 100 hairs a day but this is replaced by more hair, i think the hair cycle is something like 6 months growing, then falls out, then in a 3 month resting phase then grows again. But you would only notice hair loss if you are loosing lots of hairs each day and are not regrowing anything which can be caused by stress or deficencies amoungst other things.
I have come to the conclusion that 100% raw food is best but hard to do properly, ideally you should eat meat raw like the eskimos do but this has to be done in a special manner and left for a while to digest itself outside. But they have good organic meat free of chemicals, hormones and parasites.
I did do a pure raw diet for a while eating no diary or meat, then i found out about the importance of fats and how eliminating them from the diet is a really bad idea. But if you dont know much about biology and just hear the word fat most people will think it is a bad thing and avoid it completely, but there are different types of fat and it is important the body gets them.
this article is a must read if you only eat raw food, make sure you look at part 2 of the article at the very bottom

i think a largely raw food diet is best, but eating only raw food and having no animal protein or fats will have serious consequences later on and will probably shorten your life too. Since i dont eat meat i eat eggs which are almost as good as eating meat.
this is another excellent article about raw food enzymes, and how a true raw food diet leads to longer life. It has an interesting story in history about a man who was 122 years old and was very fit like he was 30, he ate raw food, then one day the king invited him to the palace because he wanted to know the secret of his long life. This man later died at the palace and the coroner said it was due to overindulgence on rich foods (cooked foods)
