Wife's "female" discomfort

My wife had her annual female check up in March. Pap was normal, mammagram was clean. Her periods are like clockwork, although now that she is 39, they are starting to vary in terms of days between cycles. She was always very regular, every 28 days. In the past six months this has changed to 26 days, 29 days, 31 days, etc. After our son was born via c-section, the following year she had an ectopic pregnancy resulting in emergency laproscopic surgery. The ectopic was a result of the fetus getting trapped by scar tissue from the c-section which was very heartbreaking and unfortunate. Other than that, she has never had other surgeries or female problems.

This month, her period came in 27 days. Last month it was 30. Her periods are a non event which is great. They usually last for 2 days with minor discomfort on day 1 and never any cramps. About 5 days later she will have a brown discharge that lasts for 1 day. Then off to the next month. This has been like clockwork.

Since her period this month, she has been feeling weird down there, like a fullness or that same discomfort she has on the first day of her period. Also, since having the brown discharge as usual, which lasts an entire day, she has noticed a brown mucous discharge each morning first thing, but not again the rest of the day.

She called her doctor who asked her to verify she was not pregnant (she isn't) and said she was probably having a weird cycle. This weird feeling only started with this period but that was 10 days ago. She has been liver and bowel cleansing along with me.

I know you say that toxins dump in the female organs when the liver is not well. She has done 5 Liver Flushes and the last two produced only a small amount of stones.

Any ideas what could be causing this or how to alleviate this discomfort? She did the castor oil packs earlier in the week and found they didn't provide any relief. Also, could this discomfort be from the bowel and not female related? She has been doing bowel cleansing as well.

There is so much real estate down there, we are not sure where this is coming from. Any thoughts here? The doc was of no help.
