Re: My theory?

Mr. Tee- you too? I am using 'Super Papaya Enzyme' (it's a chewable supp, they taste like little peppermints) and have enjoyed making decent progress since starting on it, about 2 weeks ago.

Some Chinese medicine practitioners (TCM) say what is commonly described as Candidiasis in other parts of the world, actually has to do with *food not being digested enough* as a cause. Papaya enzyme (called papain) breaks down the protein; it is said to be more effective than pepsin or HCL. Insufficiently digested food causes the other issues we commonly see with candidiasis e.g. bad digestion, coated tongue, food allergies , and countless others. Also it means an amino acid deficiency thanks to the body's difficulty with digesting proteins. Also if you check the online literature regarding candida, many will mention the whole food-not-digested-enough theory and state that the badly digested food somehow directly feeds the anaerobic organisms in the gut incl any yeast/fungus.

Papain is supposed to be exceptionally good. I have read an account of a guy successfully curing his Seborrheic Dermatitis using a papain/jojoba topical, and taking papain internally. Also a couple people on discussion boards eliminating their heartburn using it. It's used in some cultures as an anti-parasitic. The concept that it could literally "digest" fungus/yeast is new to me. I guess if it works, it works.
