Re: molybdenum

My favorite form is the liquid. I use one from Nutribiotic that I order at iherb.com. The other form I have tried is the tablet form. Solgar makes one. Unfortunately, for me it has a casein base and I am sensitive to casein, so I had to stop using it. The liquid gives me more control as well. One drop equals 25mcg, so I can make my dosage as large as I want, and I divide my dosage easier throughout the day if I want. I usually take 2 doses of 150mcg each in my daily water(6 drops per serving). That helps motivate me to finish my water, and it gives me a little moly throughout the day.

The liquid form does have some preservatives , a very small percentage, between .1 and .2 percent, and while I am sensitive to at least one of the preservatives , citric acid , the amount in the formula has never bothered me even at doses as high as 600mcg. And I get to skip on the fillers and binders that are in the tablets. I get enough of those from my other supplements.

It can be difficult to find molybdenum sold by itself. It is often added to the formulas of other supplements like MSM, NAC, and glucosamine. So for consistent access you may want to find a company you can depend on to order from.
