I am not sure whether Tanalbit works like Candex, but a health food store owner told me that a product that works like Candex was that... I guess he just means it's a "mild anti-fungal" as opposed to strong traditional anti-fungals that can cause more die-off.

Regarding the rotation of Candex, how long did you use it when you say you used it years ago? It seems odd that you would drop Candex when it's working... does your doctor mean that traditional anti-fungals are more powerful and that Candex is merely a precursor to getting to the real elimatinators of Candida now that your body is healthier and can handle it? I thought that Candex would be the sole and primary anti-fungal for Candida.
