My Chinese doctor says that a burning tongue is caused by 'heat in the body'. If the centre of the tongue burns it is 'heat in the heart'. Her explanations are confusing to a western person, but her herbs are realy helping. Her English is not good enough for an indepth discussion, and my Chinese is nill. Hope you find the answer.
