Is it possible to have retracing symptoms from a previous illness or surgery?

My understand with retracing (herxheimer, die-off) is that you can re-experience any traumatic or serious illness or surgery from the past. During my current retracing period, I have been having weird stomach pains, that feel identical to when I was having gall bladder attacks. My gallbladder was so bad, that by the time they went in to remove it, it was in pieces! They said had I not had it out when I did, I would have died.

Anyway, this current detox period has been the hardest I've ever gone through - the stomach symptom is the oddest one yet. Like I said, the only other time I had pain like this, was when I was having gallbladder attacks and it's in the same exact place as my gallbladder used to be. I started back on my liver support supplements four days ago, but I guess it hasn't had a chance to kick in yet. Has anyone else here retraced previous serious illnesses or surgeries? Thanks.
