Was it Die-off that sent me to the ER?

I posted this in the parasite section as well, but they don't seem to have much traffic.

As some of you know, I finally found myself and excellent and educated Naturopath who is also a scientist. My main diagnosis was parasites with secondary Candida and Heavy Metal Toxicity. So far the supps he has had me on have been great. I can smell the heavy metal in my urine many times as it's leaving, have seen dead parasites in my stool, etc. I have been on his protocol about 3 months.

This is my dilemma. About two weeks ago, I started having diarrhea. I thought it was food poisoning at first, from some chicken we ate, but it didn't go away. It's now day 15 and my nausea, erratic bowels (diarrhea one moment, solid the next, then constipation, then diarrhea, etc.), lightheadedness, and all got so bad today, I ended up in the Urgent Care. The weird thing is, I will feel like I am on deaths door nearly all day, then I'll have a reprieve for several hours where I feel absolutely fine, and then back to the death's door feeling again. I can't take the nausea anymore, it's retched! I also feel week, and sometimes jittery. The doc at the Urgent Care was at a loss as to what is wrong. I reluctantly told him about the parasite treatments and candida, so then of course had to go through the usual interrogation as to how I knew I had parasites, had they been diagnosed via stool sample, etc. He seemed duly impressed that I knew my stuff and believed me in the end. The good news was that I didn't have any blood in my stool, BP was normal, heart rate was a little elevated, but I think it's because it was wicked hot outside, and I was bordering on heat exhaustion. He also said I was borderline dehydrated, but it wasn't serious enough for an IV. He said to bone up on Gatorade (yeah, I know, the sugar), and water and wants me to eat bland for a while. But the problem is, all the bland food he wants me to eat, i.e. bananas, apples, rice, dry break and saltines, no meats or fats, are all the foods I'm not supposed to have. I felt like I was going to pass out and was shaking. They are running a pregnancy test on me (since my symptoms are similar to morning sickness), another stool sample (more for the doctor's curiosity than mine, I know I have parasites), thyroid, etc.

My question to you all is, could the horrible stomach cramping, nausea and erratic bowels I've had for two weeks and that sent me to the urgent care, be a bad die-off episode? I am used to die-off, but never anything like this! They told me that food poisoning and stomach flu do not last that long and you do not feel horrible one minute, fine the next, and then horrible again, as I have been experiencing. Does anyone know if parasitic die-off can be this severe? I hope to talk to my naturopath tomorrow to get some answers. I have an appointment for next Friday with an internist/gastrointerologist, just in case they cannot figure out what is wrong, but I really do not want to go see him, if it's just the parasites having a raccous farewell party. BTW, what do you recommend to ease nausea in die-off? Thanks so much. Sorry this was long.
