Aother important distinction between yeasts

I would like to mention that a major difference between cryptococcus and candida is the fact that the "cryp" is simply not supposed to be there EVER! Candida albicans on the contrary, is usually present to some degree or another much of the time. This is why making a diagnosis is sometimes quite difficult, unless it has begun to show signs of hyphea.
On the other side, cryptococcus is not only difficult to diagnose [remember this is a mutated strain] but very hard to find and isolate even by competent specialists.
So, if you have this yer outta luck!
I am making inroads to solving this problem, but it will take some time, because most labs just do not have the ability to deal with this.
If I do not get co-operation soon, I will involve the press--maybe they will "inspire" a lab to come up with the proof.
I think I did post the fact this this yeast [the crypt] is, as far as I can tell, infectious. This means it can be transfered to other areas of the body, and possibly transmitted to others via body-fluid. Shroom
