Yup! Tho I do eat meat, but I also eat TONS of veggies (lots of them raw, and some steamed every day) and a fair amount of fruit. And when I eat meat, at least half of it is organic. Sometimes other issues underlie. For instance, grains are not good for me - I react badly to them. But, I know that if (WHEN) I detoxify even more than I have so far, my tolerance for grains will increase. But, I have not taken an antifungal in years, I eat fruit and dark chocolate, I drink wine sometimes, and besides I have type 1 diabetes so my bloodstream is constantly bathed in excess sugar, so
Sugar is NOT the most important factor in candida. In fact, the only time I have problems with candida now is when I allow myself to get too toxic. I only made headway in treating candida when I got OFF antifungals, because the antifungals kept me in a viscous circle of toxicity due to my liver not being able to handle the die off, thus keeping the body in a constant state of toxicity/die off/toxicity die off. This is because candida flourishes in a toxic environment, so if you can't detox properly, all the antifungals in the world won't help you, and wil lin fact make you worse.
