Re: Probiotics And Candida Cure
Hi Zapp,
I would have to agree that probiotics is only one step toward recovery and that most of the candida has to be killed off, down to a "normal" level, and maybe less for people like us who are prone to overproduction.
There was some talk awhile back about immuno compromised people. What constitutes immuno compromised or immuno suppressed? I think there are different gradients of this. There are those with AIDS and cancer, etc. Those are serious cases. Then there are the people here on the candida board. Almost all of us are here because of
Antibiotic use (my case was also provoked by vaccines).
Antibiotics kill off T-cells, the things that generate a storehouse of antibodies, made by the spleen. (My spleen hurt like mad when my candida was raging). The more one takes
Antibiotics , the more T-cells get killed off. Thus the better environment for candida production.
Do you know if T-cells can be replaced/regenerated? I had a discussion some years ago with a nutritionist friend who said they can't be. Thanks for your opinion. obj
