There are several good things that have come from my experience with candida. I have learned to treat people, especially ailing people, with a measure of patience, kindness, and compassion. It wasn't always that way. I was one of those fortunate people who has never had a serious ailment in their life. I didn't have a clue what it meant to be chronically and seriously ill. Now I do.
I always try to remember that we are all unique. Due to genetic and physiological differences one person may have an easy time ridding themselves of candida, while an equally complient individual may struggle for years. Given all the controversy and confusion surrounding candida, I think pure dumb luck plays a major role in a candida cure. I also try to remember that while candida can be very, very unpleasant it is not a fatal condition. A friend of mine just told me that she has been diagnosed with liver cancer. I'm afraid that all the goat yogurt in the world would be of little help for her. Even when you're feeling truely wretched with candida, still there are many who would gladly trade places with you.
