Re: How Many Deaths?

Zapp

In one of my Yeast books I read about people who have commited suicide due to all the symptoms and suffering related with candida. I might be one of them if had not already had this before and know that one can and will get better. Somehow, the suffering is easier when you know eventually you will be okay. This disease is very stressful since you cannot find help from dr. do not know where to turn, scared to death by symptoms and then ostrasized ( sp) for having a so called " fake illness"

Objoyful

I know where you are coming from, lots of people including my hubby telling me I should eat more things and maybe I would feel better. Of course hubby understands much better now and I did agree to add a few things since I was eating practically nothing and I suspect many of my troubles are related to deficiences and not candida symptoms first hand anyway.

My new approach is to eat healthy , of course no sugar, no bread nothing like that. But first take care fo body and second to fight yeast and not the other way around. I was starving myself in an effort to kill the yeast but it was doing me more harm than the yeast. A weakened body cannot fight yeast. So I backed off of the acid/alkaline approach and instead am eating a healthy balanced diet of veggies, chicken, fish, seeds, whole oats, buckwheat, salad, raw veggies. As soon as deficiencies are under control I will address acid/alkaline. I do try to add as much raw greens as possible though and am concscience of acid foods and I go light on them.
