Many people recommend 2-4 tablespoons per day. I, however, have found it more beneficial to just cook everything with this oil. Since poly-oils really should be removed from the diet, this oil is a perfect substitute. I use virgin CC oil when I want to have a bit of the sweetness, and I use the cheaper refined oil when I want to just cook without flavor. My local Wal-mart stocks Lou Anna(?) brand coconut oil that has been refined is costs about 3 bucks for 32 oz.
CC oil really is the best oil to cook with as it is much more heat tolerant than most cooking oils used today and won't go rancid before you serve your meal.
