Re: antibiotis--the cause?

Ditto here, I practically never get sick w/ colds/flu etc even when a bug is going around and affects almost everyone else. I have read that getting mildly sick once in awhile is actually a positive sign because it indicates that the immune system is active and responding. Wouldn't be surprised if there is truth to that.

The finger of blame for Candidiasis' symptoms and dysbiosis in general (esp yeast infections in women) is usually pointed at Antibiotics , probably deservedly so IMO. How many yeast infections were noted before Antibiotics became widely used? But also I have read Antibiotics not only wipe out good bacteria, but suppress the body's overall ability to digest food (produce the digestive secretions).

I have the cracking joints (shoulders also) another poster mentioned. Inflammation causing it would make sense. It's eerie how my symptoms closely mimic that of others frequenting this board..
