Re: Do I have Candida?

It certainly sounds to me like you do have candida. I have had candida twice in my life. this last time I have had it for about 5 years because of my procrastinating. It effects everyone in different ways. You are very young and if you crack down hard on the yeast now you will likely overcome it quickly. Rather than take a test you might need to see a doctor for, why not try what was recommended in a yeast book I have by Jeanne Martin. Since yeast is present in all our bodies anyway, testing for it may not tell you anything because they will likely find it since it in every one. Instead try eliminating sugar, refined carbs, anything with vinegar, pickled , processed etc. And take Grapefruit-Seed-Extract and garlic. Try this for one week. If you start experiencing new symptoms or a change in symptoms you can rest assured you have it. I got mine from afew courses of Zithromax and boy can thoise Antibiotics do a number on ya. Since then , whenever I get sick I fight it everyway I can and refuse to take Antibiotics for anything. I ahve had quite a few really bad chest infections like bronchitis and were able to fight it off with lots of water, garlic, tons of vitamin c and " sweat therapy. Sweat therapy is another thing you might want to try. The theory here is that sweating helps your body to release alot more toxins much faster than drinking fluid and having them pass thru your kidney's Since the skin is the largest organ, you can filter alot more out much faster. So take something to kill those demons and then spend time in the tub in hot water til you are sweating profusely ( make sure you drink e nough water prior to doing this) , then shower immediately afterwards with antibacterial soap. Try using dial antibacterial soap , it works well for skin problems too. And I will bet there is a good possibility that the candida may be causing your Acne and not the other way around. you may have already had candida prior to even taking the Antibiotic but taking the med made it noticeably worse.
