There are a few companies which sell whole food Vitamin C like Megafoods and Garden of Life; they are high quality and the most absorbable kind of vitamin C but expensive and you need to pop a few pills (typically 250mg/pill)to get the high dosage you want. You might be better off increasing your daily veggie intake to get that vit C dosage up (peppers are a great source). I personally do that and also take Emergen-C Lite (two packs daily; 1g vit c/packet); my naturopath tested that product on me and it seemed to agree with my system (one of the very few).
