Have just recently been putting together the connection between Cortisol and the infestation by candida.

Did you get your tests done to insure that you do not have a Cushing's Disease or Cushing's Syndrome? My testing in that regard has been ongoing since last September - when the ultra high cortisol levels were first discovered. The advanced tests have repeatedly indicated that there's NO Cushing's connection, but since I continued to have both the medical symptoms and the psychological problems since then, that started me on the quest to see what else might be going on.

To make matters worse, not only do the cortisol and candida have such a strong connection, but the highly elevated cortisol itself can create a tremendous number of it's own symptoms (both physical and psychological). I do NOT know at this time whether or not I even do have a candida problem, it might all be a combination of the highly elevated cortisol and the concurrent anxiety, but the symptoms sure seem "suspicious"...

A couple questions - if you don't mind ...

What are your primary candida related symptoms?

Did your symptoms come on relatively suddenly or did they come on slowly over a long time period?
