Watch our for the fruit!
When I was going through allergy testing and questioning for candida, they kept asking me if I crave sweet things--cakes, cookies, etc. I told them no. I hardly ate cake, even though it was available every day. Then I realised that I could not stop eating fruit. I ate around 8 pieces a day--plums, pears, peaches....That was where the candida was getting its
Sugar from. It was, and still is, very hard for me to not eat fruit. I am usually able to limit it to 1 piece a day, which is now ok for me.
As for the rest of your diet, NO
Sugar of any sort! Carbs try to cut out as much as possible. I ate rice and millet even from the beginning. If you want energy, eat protein--yoghurt (no other form of dairy), meat, chicken, fish, etc. Nuts! I bought almonds in bulk from the health food store. They absolutely saved me. When I would get cravings, I would grab a handfull of almonds.
All of your bad reactions will pass, most likely. They could be die off, body a little in shock from the sudden change of diet, or most likely, the candida trying to make you eat what you should not.
Hope that helped,
