Hi Lapis, I'm from mid west, Calgary, Alberta, summer is very beautiful, but being here in winter is just not fun LOL, it's all covered with snow outside, foggy also, Merry X'mas LOL, we have approximately 6 months of cold weather here, if it was not because of doing school, I would be gone to somewhere alot warmer!!!

And where are you from Lapis? Is the winter cold and long there? I always wonder how other vegans, especially raw vegans manage their diets in cold weather like here. Sadly, I do not know anyone here who is on vegan diet personally, a few of my friends are vegetarians here, and they intake great amount of starch in winter, milk and cheese as well.

It's very wise Lapis, it seems that you enjoy your diet very much, so my guess is you would probably eat more spicy food in winter. But do you have craving for starch at all?
