If money is an issue I would think twice about having the stool test done. I had one done a year ago - and I'm still here!
It told me I had dysbiosis (bad bacteria). But it didn't pick up any candida (which isn't unusual because candida likes to hang on in the bowel).
Its also very bad for picking up parasites.
If I were in your position I would certainly do a
parasite cleanse (a lot cheaper than testing). I just bought one myself, and even though I am 90% sure I don't have parasites, if I somehow did all my problems would be over. Anyway I don't have many leads to work on, so I'm persuing all of them.
The problem with my mushroom thingies was that I have mushrooms most every day for breakfast! But someone posted in the
parasite forum a couple of weeks ago with mushroom thingies, which Vidalia pointed out were liver flukes!
Assume you have parasites. Do a cleanse and carry on liver flushing. See where that gets you.
