Hurricane Season

Hurricane season begins June 1, so we have three weeks to go.

Our electric company is a tri-state company and held a meeting last week where their feeling is this year will be a repeat of last year. They are expecting a hurricane as big as Katrina.. if not bigger.

My boss returned from West Palm Beach, Florida and was told the water there just didn't get cold enough this past winter and the water temperature is and has been in the mid-80's.......feeding ground for hurricanes. He, too, feels this could possibly be another destructive season.

As for FEMA, my girlfriend in Long Beach, Ms., has been told she has to give back her FEMA trailer. She doesn't even have her home finished. They claim they have a contract she signed......which she never did. She came home one day to find the FEMA trailer sitting in her front year with the key in the door! So, she more or less told them what she thought and hung up on them. I doubt they bother her anymore.
