Did anyone watch Extreme Home Makeovers tonight?

Tonight Extreme Home Makeovers focused on Biloxi, Mississippi. The team went in and rebuilt a medical clinic that was destroyed, delivered washers and dryers to people living in FEMA trailers and made a memorial to the people who lived and the ones who died.

It was an awesome show and it focused on the damage that is still there......months and months and months later.

The apartment complex that we have in Gulfport still looks exactly as it did the day after Katrina hit---a little less debris, but the buildings are still the same---just mold covered now. We know the buildings can't be repaired, but the demolition can't begin until we know exactly what the insurance company is going to do. State Farm Insurance had not even brought an offer to my company and we have done everything we were supposed to do. You know, you have insurance to help in the event an accident happens. State Farm has always advertised that you were in good hands with him. Well, where are those hands today?

Just please remember all the people on the Gulf Coast. We are less than three months away from the 2006 Hurricane Season!!!
