Briefly my husband and I attempted to adopt a baby boy when we were vegetarians and living in the middle of the meat and dairy industry made it difficult. We were feeding our son organic food and goat's milk since we had not finalized the adoption he was not a vegetarian at the time. We were faced with people's ideas that our being vegetarian was harming our son and the adoption agency stopped the adoption and the State of Indiana backed them up. Because of that situation we decided to go futher and seek more about health we wanted to be the best we could be we went from that point to being vegan and know we are 8 months raw. We have never felt better and what came out of a bad situation was the greatest thing that could have happened to us, we feel great, sleep better and are laughing more than ever at stressful times. Life is geat and know we know that when we are allowed to adopt again our child will have the best informed parents possible.
