Re: Raw food is alkalizing...even raw meat/dairy?

Raw dairy.... possibly. I have heard lots of good things about raw dairy. Now obviously (see my name) I personally wouldn't take them, but if I did take dairy, then raw would be the best! A raw yogurt would probably be alkalizing, more than any other animal product I can think of.

Raw meat.... I was thinking something along the lines of raw fish like sushi... should be okay... or beef tartar? I have heard of people taking steak and just braising the outside, the inside is still all raw. I wouldn't eat any of that stuff but if you do, make sure it is the HIGH quality and a good source. I don't know if those things are alkalizing but you'd better be very careful not to get food poisoning or even MORE likely, parasites!
At any rate, you need some acid food in the diet also, I think I heard around 10% so you could have your cooked meats be the acid part, and not overdo it.
Hope someone else has more definitive answers.
