Deleting a Program Completely

I know I shouldn't have but I downloaded a program trial for computer maintenence. The program has installed some kind of permanent tracking so that I can't completely get rid of the it. I know how to use regedit but I have no idea where the program left it's footprint. Any help would be greatly appreciated. There must be a cleanup program that is out there?
