sometimes I'm over the top...

this is in response to an email I found in my inbox today regarding my somewhat 'inflexiblity' to alter the MC...I wanted to share it...

I am in agreement with you, one who is in touch w/yourself.

I only stress the issue of following the formula/plan because I see many folks out there that absolutely have NO clue at all. They look for guidance and truth, yet will pick and choose what sounds good or what seems convenient to lessen the discomfort,cravings,etc...

I feel that The Master Cleanse in particular is the simplest cleanse around. If people followed it to the 'tea' ,with no deviations, they would certainly reap the benefits not just physically, yet most importantly, they would gain invaluable confidence/control/power/insight/compassion/empathy/sympathy,etc.

I see weakness as a human trait, as many choose the easy path rather than the high road. Most people in the U.S. have little or zippo sympathy for their sisters or brothers in the world that have experienced 'true' pain and suffering. Most Americans have never felt what it's like to be really hungry even for a day.


Amongst other things, The Master Cleanse affords a window of opportunity to see/experience not only one's self, it is a chance to look at one's life and the world we live in from a different angle. From a place where food does not envelope our being...

I can only speak for myself, as you can, and showing and proving to myself that I can go 45 days ,without deviating from my goal even one time, has opened up a completely different world to me-

Maybe I don't show it enough, but , I really do care about people. I only want them to open a new reality...a reality that really makes them think about themselves and their place in the universe they are a part of.

I have no selfish motives other than the satisfaction seeing the true success of the people that want to make their lives and our universe better , as are your motives I believe.
I invariably push the mc, in it's pure form in hopes that some will see the light...not my light ...their's.

I may seem like I'm standing on a stump, yet if I can place one positive thought, or prod someone to go the extra mile, or open their eyes to something ,I have no problem standing high. We are very much alike in some ways.

I fast and cleanse for spiritual reasons... mostly...I welcome and am not afraid of any pain or discomfort that I may experience during my cleanse. I have learned to shrug off the whims and obsessions that come my way, and live virtually fearlessly in my everyday life.

I believe that in order to be truly free one has to be willing to bleed.scar , feel pain,obstain,crave,even suffer sometimes. The Master-Cleanse is a vehicle to obtain some freedom . The rest is up to the individual.

Life is full of unique exeptions and modifying something to make it work better is good. I just see too many people veering off into variations on the MC, hell in life overall, simply for convenience most of the time, not because they are in touch with their bodies or themselves or truly seek what's best for them. Most just want to get it over with. Those are the folks I encourage relentlessly to ,for once in their lives , stick with something with out letting their vanity, whims, cravings,selfishness or convenience rule their being.
