Re: Day 21 where should I go from here

Cheers for your 21 days ! I know your are in a great zone!

I know that feeling like you could keep going. My last cleanse was a 45 and I could have easily went more.

I would ask you what I ask myself...do you crave food? Can you make someone's meal and shrug off the pangs? Howz the tongue look? although this is not a great gauge, mine never got clear even after 45! Do you have a mapped out game plan for your break, post cleanse?

Your back issue may be caused from many things, yet, stones could be a possiblity. I would seriously consider to break, to be safe, if it continues for more than 48-72 hours. Discomfort is one thing , real pain is another. I rarely advocate ending unless risk is involved. Nothing that can't be fixed though! :) and I presume that most vets would prescribe the same advise. Give it 48-72 hours is my opinion. If at any time you are in terrible pain...that,in my humble opionion is your cue . You're going to have to wait a couple weeks though for your liver flush. I'm not as versed w/those as many are here=check out the liver cleanse forum. Andreas is great, too!

The back pain could also very well be just one of your personal 'event milestones' as I call them. Simply another stage of the cleansing process. Have you noticed any changes in your eliminations? I.E., seen any weird stuff come out? Look for stones at this point (sometimes earlier for some, mine came at about 21-24 days so maybe you are due).

If you are producing bile during your swf(deep yellow)that will purge some of the stones. Upping the cayenne always helped me and I experienced some pretty good sized stones, maybe a half a dozen. Another reason, folks, that swfs are essential.

'Staying'/going as long as possible is not required. My son(12) , while training for deep skin diving, can hold his breath until he passes out. I don't like that!!!! He is too young to read his body and know and respect his limits.

Always respect your body and it's limits. When I scuba dive at deep depths, I experience nitrogen narcosis, a euphoric state that can make you totally carefree and feel like you could stay underwater forever...unfortunately, some do.

Goals are great to prevent any health issues. I don't think I will ever do another 45 dayer, though in October I'm doing a 30. Healthy living and retainment of the control you developed during your long cleanse will ensure a balance you have never had. You can't loose.

Use the wisdom you have to make your decision...

Not sure where you live to advise of a great doctor.

You may contact http://www.mohrdar.com/ in Riverside California. Maybe they could help to possibly refer you to someone in your area. If you are in that area ,Tell them David(me),Stan & Carolyns friend referred you.

I have referred many people there.

Look for Dr.s that treat the body as a whole, those that are true detectives, not just the 'swat' team that wants to shoot and ask questions later. A good doctor ,when you tell them your ailment, will ask," when did this start?",
" what was happening in your life during that time..."...etc...

If you have never been to a naturopath then expect some prying into your past(if they are good). Ailments are very often, if not most, caused from the mind and it's distress. The Dr I am referring you to found the cause of my sister's gallbladder, hearing loss, thyroid and gum problems to be stemmed from my father's death,25 years ago,and her lack of proper grieving. Unfortunately, my sister didn't/doesn't want to deal with certain things in life and couldn't handle the Dr making her face them. Funny, in one session he pegged everything that 10 years of a coddling ($$$ hungry)therapist neglected to address. My sister now wears a hearing aid, had her gall bladder removed and had gum surgery. I'm not a fan of many Dr.s. For the most part it comes down to making a living instead of making a difference...sorry if I offend anyone. I guess that most western medicine training is to blame more than anything...God I'm ranting like I just did 21 days, hah!

Ok, Salma...had enough...? :)

aloha...d
