Hormone replacement therapy is the culprit!
I had my annual with my gynecologist and told her about the symptoms. She knew right away that the hormones were the problem. I was taking FemHrt and the whole thing started while I was taking one called Activella. Apparently both of them cause muscle spasm in the digestive system. 2 weeks after going to something gentler, no more pain! Thanks.
