I'm no interpreter but...(Long)

I've been working with dreamstates for awhile in my therapy and I might have an idea...

I had to drive , the brakes didn't work , didnt know where I was going . Car is speeding up .

(You take control, but are unable to stop going down an unfamiliar path)

Then came a bridge but there was a gap and We (meaning I) was supposed to make the car jump onto the boat?.

(Bridge = a crossing. You're leaving the familar behind, placing faith in an unfamiliar vehicle/process that you don't have complete control over, are are expected to use it to succeed at a difficult task.)

Im not to sure how to describe it, but there is water in between the bridge and where I have to go . I tried to turn the car around but deceided it was to dangerous because it would cause some accidents.

(The path ahead has obstacles that you would like to avoid, but know the consequences would be worse than the obstacles. This can be something as complicated as admitting something to yourself, or as simple as not letting the laundry pile up)

IT WAS JUST ANOTHER GIRL AND i IN THE BACK SEAT , not sure who she is.

(Desire not to be alone in the ordeal. Possibly the part of you that desires to stay behind/not cross the bridge/make changes)

The car started to feel as if it might be out of control but not that bad so we had stopped it, all from the back seat since thats where we're sitting.

(Again, the not-in-control theme)

Then I saw police car , was afraid of getting stopped because of the shifty way the car was driving . We start arguing over who will drive , I just figured I better do it . Saw another police cAR when I just started to drive , didnt want to deal with them!

(Repercussions of turning around, and of being careless on your path. You don't want to deal with them: this could be someone in your life who is telling/doing something you don't want to hear/admit. After arguing with your possible other self you take control.)

Another part of the dream took place while it's dark , perhaps there was more police also (just realizing this noaw)!! They were searching for a girl I used to go to schoool with perhaps using the copters in the sky . We were friends originally , but we grew apart. haven't spoken in years . I am not fond of her , but would not want any one missing and in danger.

(Girl= representation of parts of yourself that have changed (perhaps as you've gotten older) that you're not fond of. Internal betrayal. The police here are searching for the lost You and are again representations of keeping you on the path of what's best for you)

There was another element of danger, from every aspect of my sleep . A person is missing , who took them , I'm assuming worse.

(Where is the true me? Am I in danger of losing it? Is it already lost? How do I get to it?)

Then we are in a classroom (haven't seen thse people in years by the way) . We watch a video , its all about her. I'm very sure that I started to weep .

(While in a familar but possibly uncomfortable situation you make the realization that part of You is missing, possible dead. It's obviously distressing. Since this comes before the bridge, I would say the overall moral of the story is that you've been made aware that there are parts of you that your soul still finds very valuable and may be changing. You have to decide if you're ok with those parts being gone, although since you're cleansing it sounds like your soul would really like to have them back. So you embark on difficult journey with the part of You that wants to leave things the way they are. You may not be supported or have all the right tools to establish the faith/confidence needed to make these changes (jumping to the boat). You need to take control of the car and decide you are able to drive.)

Again, this is all speculation, esp. since I don't know you, but this is the impression I get. :-)
