Thanks Joy...
I'm new to the
juicing thing. Today I had:
~12
ounces strawberry blueberry juice.
~12
ounces cantaloupe juice
~16
ounces beet+ greens, carrot, celery, kale, ginger, apple juice
~20 ounces beet+ greens, carrot, celery, kale, spinach, onion, garlic, tomato juice
In addition to the above, I have 2 cups of veggie broth (scraps from the juicer boiled with nothing added) and tons of water. I did make sure to strain my juices (and broth) and haven't felt hungry, in fact I feel great!
How'd I do? Too much of something (sugar, calories)? Not enough of something else (greens, veggies)? There is very little guidance on the
juicing forum so I'm taking advice where ever I can get it. I'll be sure to heed your advice and stay away from the strawberrys once there gone (in the morning). What about the cantaloupe? I read that it is a dieters boon- "approximately 100 calories, yet is dense in nutrients. This makes melon a perfect food for healing and weight loss. Delicious, filing and low in calories". -taken from the FREEDOM YOU website.
Thanks in advance for sharing your wisdom and experience!
