Re: This forum rocks!
Hi Mrs B...
My first Mc was 10 days, a few more 10s 15s,20s...25s
whatever my schedule permits. This is my first 45!
I personally think you are jumping in too quick and wouldn't advise a 31 for the first time. But that is only me. I don't know you. I feel that it is good to learn about your body and what to expect. Maybe I'm wrong. If you have led a relatively clean, healthy lifestyle then go for it. I myself haven't eaten meat/poultry for 30 years, very, very rarely eat dairy or sugar, etc unless it's in a cake or something. Yet I still started with 10s.
My best suggestion is to go for 10 , see how you feel ,then another 10,etc...yet if you are totally psyched then go baby go. If you are a runner , then you can identify with the zone...the point that you could run all day...we are both on day 5. I zone at 12 or so...but it is always different ,as we all are. For me I need a goal. Seldom do I shoot for 20 and go 23 or 24...so if you have that vision stick with it and don't let me discourage you...Go by the book and you will be fine.
Don't skimp or skip...
I think many/most people use this as a weight loss program, which is fine. But, unless you are really going to change what made you overweight in the first place, don't think you will keep it off. I think it is easier to fast than it is to control what you eat. The key is to establish will power through your life . Not that I'm a saint by any means! It was tough for me to give up cheese...especially on pizza(went 10 years ordering pizza without cheese). MMM, soycheese is good though, and I make my own pizza now. But only if I am going to work for it, ie, walk, run, yardwork, etc. After each
Master-Cleanse it's easier for me to live with out bad stuff and walk away from it. I am a trained chef and now cook everything healthy. There are substitutes for everything. You should try my tofu spinach ravioli ...mmmmmm...don't get me going! But you go baby!!!!Keep us posted!
