not everyone has massive amounts of it if any at all. it is created when the intestines coat themselves with mucos again and again to protect from excessive irritation and it builds up over time. normally it would coat to protect and when the irritant is coated and passed through in the mucos it resumes normal function. but say if you were eating wheat and your body couldnt digest wheat like someone else who could. you would likely have a build up. the cayenne breaks it up. a lot of people on the programs that flush it out with fiber commonly mistake the fiber for plaque.
