it's definitely a good idea to change your diet beforehand as others suggested and like you said you'd try, so that's a good start. as far as medications are concerned, I don't currently take any so it's not something I've given much thought to, but from poking around the forums and doing research it seems that the general perception of it is to not take anything that isn't life-sustaining. i think, but definitely check it out.
