Since you are in a normal weight range, your weight loss may not be as extreme or the gain as drastic as those of us who lost a lot of weight the gained back rapidly even with fairly good eating practices. Still, you are right, slowly increase the amount you eat as time goes by. Only you can really judge what your program will need to be. If you gain more than a pound or two in a week, back off a little.

Remember the general formula for ideal weight for women-100 pounds at 5 feet tall. Add 5 pounds for every inch of height over 5 feet. Your ideal weight should be within 5-7 pounds over or under that standard. This formula may not agree with the fashionista standards for idealized females, but works for the healthiest, best functioning body for most people.
